Fraser Plastics is committed to helping businesses minimize their environmental impact and meet their recycled content goals. Our HDPE Color and HDPE Natural PCR recycled resin are produced from post-consumer materials, allowing us to utilize old materials for new plastic packaging and products.
Our sustainable process utilizes a repeating cycle to collect materials and produce 100% PCR pellets. The steps in this process are as follows:
The plastic you place in your recycling bin is collected by disposal trucks and ends up in facilities for sorting. Once these goods have been sorted, they are compacted into plastic bales.
Fraser Plastics receives HDPE Color and Natural plastic bales to process them into pellets. Once these bales arrive at our facility, we assess them to ensure quality, sort through the materials, grind the plastic into flakes, wash, dry and then extrude them into pellets.
The HDPE PCR pellets are sent via Rail or truck to companies to produce various plastic goods and packaging.
Plastic goods and packaged items are then purchased by consumers. Once they are done with the packaging or products, these items are placed in the consumer’s recycling bin to start the process again.
Fraser Plastics strives to make a positive difference for the environment by minimizing the amount of plastics in our landfills. As part of the Association of Plastic Recyclers and a member of the Canada Plastics Pact, we are committed to helping companies reduce their environmental footprint with high-quality HDPE PCR resin.
